FREETANCE Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") establishes this Privacy Policy (this "Policy") regarding how we handle user information in the mobile application "Chari de Kita" (the "App") that we provide.
1. Information we process
The App processes or stores the following information on your device (foreground use only where applicable):
- Location (latitude/longitude): obtained from OS location services while the App is in the foreground; not collected in the background.
- Device speed: referenced in real time only to determine the in-ride lock feature; not stored.
- User-generated post data (category, title, description, post location, optional display name).
- In-app settings/state (e.g., onboarding flags, filters).
The App does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address (except when you contact us), phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, microphone/camera, or advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID).
2. Purposes of use
We use the information described above for:
- Location: map display near your current location, speed-based lock feature, and determining supported area (Japan).
- User posts: displaying pins on the map and allowing you to re-view/delete your own posts.
- Settings/state: restoring within the App for your convenience.
We do not use the information for other purposes.
3. Storage and transmission
In the current MVP version, all information is processed or stored only on your device and is not sent to external servers.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We do not provide, sell, or share the information with third parties except where required by law.
5. Third-party services
For map display, we use Apple Maps (iOS) and Google Maps SDK for Android (Android). Your IP address, device information, and viewed map area may be sent to those providers.
6. Advertising and tracking
The App does not display ads and does not include tracking or analytics SDKs.
