FREETANCE Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") establishes this Privacy Policy (this "Policy") regarding how we handle user information in the mobile application "Kinou no Ore ni Kiku" (the "App") that we provide. The App does not communicate over the internet, and all information you enter is stored only on your device.
1. Information we process
The App stores the following information only on your device. None of it is ever transmitted to us or to any third party:
- Your mood entries (a choice of "good" or "bad")
- The factors you select as the cause of your mood
- The free-text note you write as "a word to tomorrow’s you" (up to 140 characters, optional)
- The date and time of each entry
- Your acceptance of the disclaimer and onboarding-completion state (flags used to avoid showing them again)
The App does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or postal address; location data; contacts; photos; microphone input; camera images; health (HealthKit) data; or advertising identifiers (such as IDFA). It has no account registration or login.
2. Purposes of use
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- Mood, causes, notes, and timestamps: to provide the App’s features on your device, such as displaying past entries, generating the "message from yesterday’s you," and visualizing your streak and patterns
- Consent and onboarding-completion state: to avoid showing the disclaimer or first-run guidance repeatedly
We do not use the information for any purposes other than those listed above.
3. Storage and transmission
All information handled by the App is processed or stored only on your device. It is never transmitted to external servers or third parties. The App works fully even in airplane mode.
- Storage: saved using iOS standard local storage (AsyncStorage).
- Deletion: you can fully delete all entries and consent state at any time from "Settings → Delete all data" in the App. All on-device data for the App is also deleted when you uninstall it.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We do not provide, sell, or share your information to third parties. Because the App never sends information externally, we have no means of accessing the data on your device.
5. Advertising and tracking
The App does not display advertisements. It does not integrate any SDK that performs app tracking (such as collecting advertising identifiers including IDFA), any analytics SDK for usage statistics, or any crash-reporting tool. We also do not display the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission prompt.
6. Cookies and similar identifiers
The App does not use cookies or similar identifiers.
7. Share feature
The App includes a feature to share the "message from yesterday’s you" as an image. This feature operates only when you voluntarily tap the share button. When you do, an image containing the message you wrote is passed only to the app you choose (such as a social or messaging app) through the iOS share sheet (UIActivityViewController). None of this data is sent to our servers. How the image or its contents are handled after sharing is governed by the privacy policy of the destination app or service.
8. Children
The App is designed for general audiences (rated 4+) and can be used safely by children. The App does not collect personal information in the first place, and any entries are stored only on the device.
9. Security
Because information is handled entirely on your device, there is no risk of leakage through communication channels. On-device data is protected by iOS standard sandbox mechanisms.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may change this Policy due to changes in laws or the App’s functionality (such as the future addition of notifications, advertising, or paid features). If we make material changes, we will notify you in advance within the App or on our website.
